Dave was a Deputy District Attorney in the Fourth Judicial District from 1986 to
1996, trying over 100 felony and misdemeanor cases during that period,
including first or second chairing five homicide cases. He also served as head
of the juvenile prosecution unit and was a prosecutor assigned to the crimes
against children unit. Since 1996 Dave has continued working as a trial
attorney, primarily in insurance and business litigation, in Southern Colorado.
From 1996 to 2001 he was an associate with Vaughan & DeMuro. From 2001 to 2006 he was an associate and partner with Harris,
Karstaedt, Jamison & Powers. Since 2006 he has been a member of Jones, Waters & Geislinger, LLC.
